Composer Josh Belperio premieres ‘In Time’

Cabaret artist and songwriter Josh Belperio (Adelaide Fringe award winner 2018 & 2019) is releasing a collaboration with 23 artists that he greatly admires. All of whom sung their vocal parts from their homes and/or places of isolation, from around the world. In total, ten cities and four countries were represented.

The music video will be available via the Helpmann Academy Facebook page from 7.00 pm (ACST), Wednesday 3 June 2020.

The music has been written as a response to our times. It is also an entry in the Helpmann Academy Home Alone Film Festival, where likes on the original Helpmann Academy Facebook post count as a vote towards the People’s Choice Award, worth $3,000.

The song is also available for download/streaming in music stores and Belperio’s website. If you download it via his website, all proceeds will be donated to the fundraiser to support the family of Aunty Tanya Day.

‘Our Mum, Tanya Day a proud Yorta Yorta woman, mother, grandmother and activist, died in custody as a result of her mistreatment in Victoria Police custody on 5 December 2017.’

– Apryl Day

All proceeds from streams and music store purchases will also be donated to that charity.
