Synthetica will run sound production course for AYO National Music Camp 2020

Are you aged between 18 and 30 and keen on learning about live sound production in the context of orchestral music? If so, then you have until this Friday 28 June to apply for a spot in Australian Youth Orchestra’s 2020 National Music Camp.

The camp will take place between 5 to 19 January 2020 in Adelaide and we are thrilled to announce that our official audio partner, Jakub Gaudasinski of Synthetica Digital Audio, will be running the sound production course!

Jakub will be joined by fellow tutors Phillip Sametz (Words About Music), Angela Chilcott (Orchestral Management), and Melody Eötvös (Composition), as well as artists Natsuko Yoshimoto (ASO Concert Master), Matthew Coorey (Conductor), and William Barton (Artist-in-Residence).

Throughout this course, you will learn the essentials of sound engineering and you will have the chance to apply your new skills towards the recording and production of an exciting two-week concert series. Some of these performances will be broadcast live by the ABC, giving you a rare chance to have your work heard nationally!

The Australian Youth Orchestra has an excellent reputation for producing high quality concerts and giving participants unique training opportunities with world-class musicians and composers.
