The Penola Coonawarra Arts Festival is run by a dedicated committee and supported by a growing group of supporters and ambassadors endearingly known as ‘Friends of the Festival’. The festival celebrates the unique artistic, historical, and cultural heritage of the region which is the traditional home of the Ngarrindjeri and Booandik people.

This year, patrons have the opportunity to watch live performances and take part in creative workshops such as: Photography Masterclass with Steve Chapple; Chocolate Tempering Activation Masterclass at Majelia Wines; card-making workshop with Di’s Gifts’n’Flowers; Papermaking workshop, and (if you’re experiencing a creative block) Unleash your Creativity: Overcoming Creative Block workshop. You can explore the complete lineup of events here.

It’s truly a family event so if you haven’t yet explored the Limestone Coast, then next weekend’s arts festival is a great reason to take a road trip to Penola or Coonawarra.
