March madness: rehearsals, reviews, and reflections

Opening night is officially over and the Fringe Festival has kicked off. I started my morning in rehearsals with a great group of musicians.

It was a fabulous way to set the tone for another Fringe season and I’m so keen to be on stage with them in a few weeks singing such timeless tunes.

Tonight I’m heading to the Rhino Room and the National Wine Centre with my reviewer hat on and I’m in the mood for comedy. I picked up my media pass from the brand new FringeWorks headquarters and I love the vibe surrounding Adelaide. If you haven’t hit the town yet, you should seriously get into the spirit of things because this city is the place to be right now.

Here are some behind-the-scenes pictures I took from rehearsal this morning. All the musicians and singers in this show are talented South Aussies and I encourage you to come and support local, as well as explore the festival guide and discover new artists and acts.

My stage performances will run between 3 – 11 March and I’ll be in two shows this year. Namely, From A Distance, The Glory of Bette and A Thousand Cranes. I hope to see you there.
